The Broncos' dominant performance in this Week 3 matchup against the Cardinals lends credence to the idea that they could be a stronger team than anticipated when the real games begin.

However, the second half of the parlay lost. The Sunday night game between the New England Patriots and Washington Commanders saw the Patriots playing their starters, while the Commanders rested theirs. Despite this advantage, the Patriots, who are considered a bad team, did little on offense beyond a couple of good drives from rookie QB Drake Maye, and they ultimately lost 20-10.
